Job Title: Senior SAP ABAP Developer (Part-time, Long Term Contract)Position Type: Part-time Hours: 15 hours/week, evenings only Contract Duration: Long Term (2+ years)Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer for a long-term, part-time role, offering flexibility with a fixed weekly schedule. The role requires a minimum of 7 years of SAP ABAP development experience, working in large multinational corporations. The ideal candidate should be committed to a consistent weekly schedule and have excellent communication and documentation skills.Key Responsibilities:Develop, test, and deploy ABAP code on remote systems via screen sharing.Work on tasks related to IDOC development, CDS views, BAPIs, BADIs, and debugging.Upload and deploy code, ensuring its functionality within the SAP environment.Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders via screen sharing to perform necessary tasks.Engage in research and development (R&D) activities to continuously improve the SAP environment.Maintain detailed documentation of development work and processes for future reference.Requirements:Experience:Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.Prior experience working in large multinational corporations is required.Technical Skills:Strong expertise in IDOC development, CDS views, BAPIs, BADIs, and debugging.Must have access to a local SAP system for coding and R&D.Language Skills:Excellent English proficiency (9/10) with strong documentation and communication skills.Availability:This is a part-time role (15 hours/week) with evening hours only.Must commit to a fixed weekly schedule, which can be self-selected but needs to be consistent.Must be available for at least 2 years in this long-term contract role.Additional Requirements:Candidate must already be employed in a full-time role and not engaged in any other part-time jobs.Preference for candidates working remotely in their current full-time role.Reliable internet connection with a backup is required for smooth communication and deployment.Must have a dependable work computer capable of supporting remote work tools and screen sharing.Self-Assessment:Please rate yourself on a scale of 1-10 for the following skills:IDOC Development:CDS Views:BAPIs and BADIs:Debugging:
