About The ProgramWe’re a bit different to other internships in that we aren’t limited to final year students or only offered over summer or winter breaks. Our paid program offers you the flexibility of being able to gain valuable work experience without sacrificing your studies. The STAR program is a 2-year program, during which time you will gain experience in different areas. You’ll have a dedicated STAR manager to support your personal development and a rotational mentor to guide you as you learn the ropes in each team.

You will also have a STAR student mentor to help you find your way around and show you the best bits of the office!So how does it work?SkillsThe STAR Program is the part time job that gives you a competitive advantage over other students when you graduate, looks great on your LinkedIn profile and provides experience learning soft skills such as: NetworkingCustomer facing communicationInternal presentationsJob shadowingProject managementTime managementIn this role as a STAR student, you will have the opportunity to:

Experience different aspects of our business, often via 6 month rotationsReceive on-the-job structured development, coaching and mentoring and have the opportunity to interact with managers, leaders, and Executives from the Leadership team. Work on a part-time basis during the academic year with an option to work full-time over the semester break – all paid of course!Earn academic credit from accredited programs at your university for your experience. Gain hands-on practical work experience and start building your professional network early.

At the end of the program, you will have the opportunity to apply for permanent opportunities within the business that will challenge and grow your current capabilities. Our STAR Program Candidates Will BeStudying Degree(s) in Business, perhaps with an IT major although other academic backgrounds will be consideredFinishing their studies no earlier than end of 2027Able to work at least 2 days per week during semester (3 days preferred)High calibre, self-motivated individuals with excellent communication skills in EnglishInterested in technology, innovation, and how digital platforms can solve business challengesProblem-solvers who are ambitious, passionate, resilient, proactive, open-minded, and able to manage pressureAble to take onboard instructions, prioritise work, be a good listener, empathetic, collaborative, and team-orienteMust be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia and/or New Zealand“This is an SAP global, strategic, paid internship placement that provides students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers.
