This role provides an exciting opportunity to support and enhance business operations through the effective implementation and optimization of SAP Sales and Distribution processes.Leveraging your SAP SD expertise, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, business users, and IT developers to translate business needs into practical system solutions. Your work will play a key role in driving operational excellence, improving end-to-end order-to-cash processes, and ensuring alignment between business strategy and digital solutions.This position is well-suited for an analytical and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working across business and technology domains. The successful candidate should possess strong configuration and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and hands-on experience in SAP SD implementation or support. Prior experience in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment will be highly valued, as will a proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvementKey Responsibilities1. Requirement Analysis & Solution DesignGather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements from business users and process owners across Sales, Distribution, and Billing functions.Translate business needs into SAP SD system requirements and design optimized solutions that align with organizational processes and objectives.Conduct gap analysis and recommend best-practice solutions or system enhancements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FI, MM, PP, and WM) to ensure system integration and data flow alignment.2. Configuration & CustomizationConfigure SAP SD modules, including Sales Order Management, Delivery, Billing, Pricing, and Credit Management, based on approved business requirements.Prepare and maintain functional specifications for custom developments, reports, and interfaces.Work closely with ABAP developers to ensure accurate implementation of functional specifications. Validate new configurations or changes to ensure system integrity and business process compliance.3. Project ImplementationParticipate in SAP projects across all phases — blueprinting, realization, integration testing, data migration, go-live, and post-implementation support.Facilitate workshops and meetings with key stakeholders to validate requirements and confirm solution design.Assist in data migration preparation, mapping, and testing to ensure accurate system transition.Contribute to project documentation including process flows, user guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).4. Testing & End-User SupportDevelop and execute functional and integration test scenarios to validate new configurations or enhancements.Identify and resolve functional issues during testing and implementation phases.Provide user training, prepare training documentation, and support knowledge transfer.Deliver post-go-live support and troubleshooting to ensure stable operations.5. Daily Operational SupportSupport daily SAP SD operations, including order-to-cash processes, pricing, delivery, and billing.Resolve user-reported issues and ensure minimal disruption to business operations.Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues between SAP and related third-party systems.Ensure compliance with internal policies and data accuracy across processes.6. Communication & CollaborationAct as a liaison between business users, IT technical teams, and management to ensure effective communication and alignment.Provide regular updates on issue resolution, project progress, and improvement opportunities.Collaborate with other SAP functional teams to ensure consistent business process execution across modules.Education & Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field.Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD/MM configuration and support.Proven experience in at least one SAP implementation project or multiple enhancement/support cycles.Strong understanding of core SD processes (Order-to-Cash, Pricing, Delivery, Billing, and Credit Management).Familiar with SAP integration points with MM, FI, PP, and WM modules.Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and analytical skills.Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with capability to interact across levels and functions.Experience with ticketing or service management tools (e.g., Service Now, Jira, or SAP Solution Manager) is an advantage.Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging or query tools is beneficial.
