He oranga taiao, he oranga tangata.Mō te tūranga | About the roleAs the SAP Test Automation Lead, you will provide technical leadership in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks for SAP modules such as Finance, Procurement, and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). You will drive automation strategies that increase test coverage, reduce manual effort, and improve the overall quality of DOC’s SAP environment.You will collaborate closely with SAP functional teams, contribute to cross-functional initiatives, and ensure testing activities support high-quality, risk-aware decision-making.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Lead the design, development, and maintenance of SAP automated testing frameworks, driving automation adoption across Finance, Procurement, and EAM.Ensure upgrades, enhancements, and integrations meet quality standards through end-to-end automated test coverage.Reduce risk by implementing robust automated regression testing, validating critical processes, and applying risk-based testing approaches.Establish consistent, repeatable automated test cycles to improve accuracy and minimise business disruption.Act as the primary contact for SAP testing, collaborating closely with functional teams and communicating testing progress, risks, and outcomes.Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and build strong relationships with stakeholders across DOC.Deliver work aligned to plans, maintain secure and accurate documentation, and uphold safe working practices.Define and apply testing standards, monitor testing quality and defects, and maintain audit-ready documentation for compliance.Click here for the Role DescriptionNgā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experienceYou will bring strong SAP test automation experience, a solid understanding of core SAP modules, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. You will be confident developing automation solutions, supporting continuous improvement, and communicating clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your approach will reflect high professional standards, sound judgement, and a focus on delivering quality outcomes.You will also have;Experience with Tricentis SAP test automation and developing/maintaining automated test scripts.Good understanding of SAP Finance, Procurement, and EAM modules and their processes.Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD practices, and familiarity with tools like Solution Manager, JIRA, or ALM.Strong collaboration and communication skills, working effectively with a wide range of people.Ability to support problem-solving, build trust, and contribute to shared team goals.Commitment to accuracy, continuous improvement, and contributing to organisational outcomes.Relevant certifications (SAP, ISTQB, QA/automation) are an advantage.He aha ngā pāinga mōu? | What’s in it for you?DOC places importance on developing a culture where everyone can participate, thrive, and grow.
