We are seeking a dynamic and creative Global Marketing Expert to join our Regional Marketing EMEA team (Sartorius Stedim Data Analytics AB) with a focus on delivering events to support our Data Analytics Business Unit. This role is essential in driving awareness through strategic marketing initiatives and events across global regions.
You are a skilled project manager with a flair for creativity, capable of executing marketing tactics and events that resonate with specific regional target audiences, be they in EMEA, APAC, LATAM or NA. You will collaborate with our global marketing team, sales, and technical teams to ensure the successful execution of events and marketing strategies relating to regional activation. The team is looking forward to shaping the future with you. This position is available for full-time and it is a home based role in Sweden, requiring regular travel within Europe and internationally (35%).
Grow With Us – Your ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Marketing and Business Units to conceptualize and design events that align with strategic objectives. Develop creative themes and formats for both in-person and virtual events to engage target audiences and enhance brand visibilityPlan and manage the logistics of both in-person and virtual events, ensuring seamless execution. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to oversee all aspects of event delivery, including negotiations, contract management, venue selection, technology setup, and participant engagement, while adhering to budget and timelines.
Develop and execute the marketing strategy for regional key launches and the year-round action plan as key interface between the business areas, sales, marketing, technical teams as well as local supporting functions within the different regional marketsSupport with the development and deployment of specific regional marketing tactics where they are necessary to achieve business goals in a specific global regionCreate and oversee event schedules, staffing, and resource plansServe as the brand ambassador for the region, ensuring that all regionalized marketing materials and activities consistently adhere to corporate brand guidelines and standardsPrepare reports on performance, engagement, and ROI.
Use insights to refine strategies and improve future initiativesWork closely with sales, product, and technical teams, across geographies and time zones, to ensure successful project executionMonitor and manage marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resourcesWhat Will Convince UsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, a related field, or extensive equivalent experienceSeveral years of experience in marketing, with a focus on event management and campaign execution.
Experience in the biotechnology or life sciences sector is a plusProficient in MS Office and familiar with the software Asana, SharePoint, Core Media, Salesforce such as TableauExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to present ideas effectivelyStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with event planning and executionProven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, and capacity to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholdersFlexible and open to change, with the ability to adapt strategies based on feedback and evolving project needsTravel and attend certain events each year to lead and supervise event set up and breakdown. This role requires regular travel within Europe and internationally, approximately >35% of the time.
