Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAS L3 Support Services Specialist to provide advanced technical support, expert guidance, and mentoring in the administration and optimization of SAS environments. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of SAS systems, while also supporting version control through Subversion (SVN) and aligning with client-specific security models.The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAS server operations, metadata management, system troubleshooting, and performance tuning. You will work closely with client teams to deliver proactive support, resolve complex issues, and ensure seamless integration with third-party systems.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expert-level knowledge transfer, mentoring, and advisory services to clients on SAS system administrationMonitor, start, stop, and manage SAS servers and spawnersAdminister and maintain SAS metadata repositories, including regular backups and access controlUse SAS Management Console (SMC) to manage metadata, user permissions, and library configurationsTroubleshoot SAS server issues including connectivity, authentication, and performance bottlenecksMonitor system resources (CPU, RAM, disk, ports) and optimize server performanceInstall and manage SAS software updates, patches, and hotfixesSupport and maintain Subversion (SVN) repositories, including user access, folder structures, and hook routinesResolve SVN client connectivity issues and assist with operations such as checkout, commit, import/exportMaintain audit and message logs, and perform corrections as neededEnsure compliance with customer security models and access policiesSupport integration of SAS with third-party systems such as databases and web application serversQualifications, Skills and ExperienceExtensive experience in SAS system administration and metadata managementStrong knowledge of SAS installation structures and configurationProficiency in using SAS Management Console (SMC)Experience with Subversion (SVN) repository management and supportFamiliarity with system monitoring tools and log analysisAbility to perform regular backups and manage SAS software updatesBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldExperience integrating SAS with third-party platforms (e.g., databases, web servers)Understanding of SAS repositories and enterprise data governance practicesAnalytical and methodical approach to troubleshooting and performance tuningGood communication and mentoring skills for client-facing interactionsAttention to detail and commitment to system integrity and securityAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentSolid understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and security principlesWhy ArcondisAn opportunity to shape the future of healthcare by spearheading transformative dealsA collaborative and innovative work environment, where your ideas are valued, and your contributions make a significant impactFlexible working environment, enabling work-life balanceAttractive compensation package, inclusive of performance-based incentives that reward exceptional achievementsProfessional growth and development opportunities
