Job Purpose / Role: Support effectively and efficiently to achieve the Thematic Reviews function’s objectives. work in identification of all relevant compliance Laws, regulations and SIMAH’s internal policies applicable to the Thematic Reviews function. conduct and participate in implementing the risk assessment approach. working in executing the compliance monitoring annual plan. Identify and escalate non-compliances with laws, regulations and policies according to the review plan. Areas of Responsibilities: Policies, Processes & Procedures: Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. Day- to-day operations:
Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work. Operations: Works and participates to achieve the Compliance department annual plans and Testing and Reporting function’s objectives. Participate in independent periodic assessments of SIMAH Department to assess their compliance with the laws, regulations and SIMAH policies. work and participate in promoting an environment of a compliance culture in SIMAH. Support in reviewing members KYC processes and due diligence practices to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Supports in identifying gaps and suggest improvements in the function’s systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘lead practices’, and highlight areas where change is required. Participate in identifying the risks based on through review of laws, regulations, policies, Delegation of Authority Matrix (DOA), organization chart, etc. Preparing review reports with detailed findings, prioritized by risk-rating. Provide recommendation for control enhancement periodically to ensure the Bureau compliance with the rules and regulations related to activities of the Bureau.
Immediate escalation and reporting to the direct manager about significant non-compliance related issues that may affect the achievement of SIMAH’s goals. work and participate in follow ups of any outstanding compliance issues reported earlier. conduct a periodic compliance assessment plan. works in drafting Thematic Reviews reports. Should have a clear understanding of the departments KPIs and assess his/her own performance. Any other related tasks assigned. People & Culture: Work in collaboration with compliance team to ensure that the Thematic Reviews function’s business plans are met within agreed budgets and timescales. Interaction with other departments: Support in building and maintaining strong and effective relationships with other related SIMAH departments. Reporting: Support in the preparation of timely and accurate reports of SIMAH to meet company and department requirements, policies, and standards. Safety, Quality & Environment:
Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment. Related Assignments: Performs other related duties or assignments as directed. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in relevant professional certificate. Minimum Experience: 3-4 years, of relevant experience in Compliance Management. Part of Compliance units in relevant industries.
