Electrical Engineer

SAUR is responsible for the management of the integral water cycle in its entirety or in some of its phases. We are currently looking for a Electrical Engineer to be based in Pafos, Cyprus, for a company specialized in water services market. Responsibilities: Operating and maintaining the Project Facilities in a safe and environmentally friendly manner. Maintaining the Project Facilities in a clean and tidy condition by regular housekeeping. Maintaining the instrumentation, electrical and mechanical components in good working order by assisting in developing and implementing a preventative maintenance programme.

Planning, scheduling, and directing maintenance of a wide variety of specialised mechanical and electrical equipment plus buildings, structures, and grounds. Establishing and maintaining co-operative relationships with Contractors. Diagnosing operating problems and direct effective correction procedures. Preparing required reports and maintaining complete record keeping procedures. Prepare a daily machine journal. The journal shall be a record of all the reading of flow rates, counter readings, pressure values, temperatures, odours etc. for all facilities and equipment of the treatment plant. A file shall be maintained on site for storage of hardcopies from supervisory control panel printouts showing the listed parameters.

In addition, all characteristic operation data of any major item of the treatment plant and all remarks and comments of the shift leaders concerning abnormal reading, overloads, stoppage, outages and other operation events shall be recorded in electronic format. A copy of the record must be sent either by fax or electronically to SBP daily. Requirements: Experience as Electrical EngineerDegree in a related fieldElectrical Installation – Wiring buildings, installing outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and lighting. Troubleshooting & Diagnostics – Identifying electrical problems using testing devices like multimeters. Reading Blueprints & Schematics – Understanding diagrams to install systems accurately.

Knowledge of Electrical Codes – Familiarity with local and national electrical codes. Maintenance & Repair – Fixing or upgrading existing electrical systems. Knowledge of Control Systems – Working with relays, PLCs, or industrial controls (especially for industrial electricians). Electrical measurement – Proficient with hand and power measurement tools like multimeter etc. Reporting – Preparation of reports, service monitoring, operation follow-upConditions: International environmentSalary conditions according to the role/ profile.
