The RoleWe’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Synthetic Chemist to join our Biosensing & In‑vivo Performance team — helping create the materials that make our biosensor technology possible.
This is hands‑on, purposeful work, and we need someone who can maintain meticulous records, support scale-up efforts, and be a key contributor to the design and improvement of workflows that bring new ideas to life. What You’ll DoYour Primary Responsibility Will Be To Work With Senior Chemists To Ensure The Quality Of Materials That Drive The Development Of Biosensors For Clinical Trials. As a Synthetic Chemist You Will Be Expected ToPerform routine chemical synthesis and purification of materials used in the production and R&D of biosensors. Follow established protocols and update batch records to ensure consistency and reproducibility. Carry out basic characterization and quality control (QC) of materials (e. g. , NMR, HPLC, UV-Vis). Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, yields, and observations. Ensure all materials meet predefined purity and performance specifications.
Support the scale-up of synthetic procedures as needed for production requirements. Assist in the preparation and labeling of reagents and stock solutions for internal use. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment. Adhering to safety protocols and waste disposal procedures. Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot synthetic or analytical challenges. What We’re Looking ForSome hands-on experience in a synthetic chemistry laboratory setting, either through university research projects, industry positions, or internships. Experience and understanding of purification techniques (e. g.
