Production Shift Manager

ᴧ Supervision of Subordinates ᴧ Organize and manage the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the Refinery operation & all plant in night shift & holiday's activity is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating procedures and policy. ᴧ Budgets and Plans ᴧ Contribute to the preparation of the Production Dept. budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified.

ᴧ Day-To-Day Operationsᴧ Manages the day-to-day operations of Refinery & all plant in night shift & holidays to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures. ᴧ Manage the execution of the daily production plan, analyze and resolve production problems to ensure production continuity meeting production targets. ᴧ Record and note any deviation from normal and take required action. ᴧ Operations ᴧ Achieve the desired, saleable production targets and product range to meet market requirements. ᴧ Establish, develop & maintain an effective operating shift, ensuring a smooth running and efficient 'team' operation.

ᴧ Ensure effective shift maintenance, quality control and hygiene services are provided to assist in the achievement of production objectives. ᴧ Deals appropriately with any emergencies arising e. g. Fire, fatality, illness etc. by organizing the team & calling the relevant emergency service. ᴧ Improve technical knowledge & skills for his team. ᴧ Contribute in planning for start-up and shutdown activities. ᴧ Run the plant in the shortest possible time when there is power failure. ᴧ Ensure good coordination effort and cooperation between different departments to address and resolve issues.
