Job Description

Role DescriptionThe Sales Account Manager will play a key role in driving SGS’s revenue by acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships through a consultative, solution-based approach. This role combines strategic sales planning, active pipeline development, and client relationship management to generate sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, international environment and be highly skilled in navigating complex B2B sales cycles within the SMB and SME segments. Ideal Candidate ProfileProven track record of success in B2B sales, account management, and client acquisition (3+ years).

Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to engage senior-level decision-makers. Experience in developing and executing account growth strategies across multiple verticals. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (C1 level minimum). Highly organized and self-motivated, with a structured and goal-oriented approach. Proficient in Microsoft Office and content management systems (CMS). Nice to have: Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot. Additional language skills are a strong asset. Background in SaaS, BPO, professional services, or consulting environments. Key ResponsibilitiesClient Acquisition & Lead ManagementProactively follow up on inbound leads and convert prospects into long-term clients.

Present SGS’s DaaS value proposition through engaging presentations and tailored demos. Own the full sales cycle – from initial outreach and needs discovery to proposal, negotiation, and closing. Account Development & Growth StrategyBuild and maintain strategic account plans to expand revenue within assigned clients. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities based on evolving client needs. Establish trusted advisor relationships by delivering ongoing value and insight. Client Retention & Relationship ManagementMaintain regular touchpoints with clients to ensure satisfaction, address challenges, and foster loyalty. Serve as the main point of contact between the client and internal delivery teams.

Monitor account health and proactively mitigate risks of churn. Internal Collaboration & Solution DeliveryCoordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, service delivery) to fulfill client expectations. Provide market feedback and client insights to inform product development and service enhancements. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing new tools, processes, and approaches. Market Intelligence & Performance ReportingStay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics. Track and report on pipeline development, sales forecasts, and performance KPIs. CompetenciesProven success in client acquisition, with a strong hunter mindset and solution-selling expertise.
