ROLE: Desktop Engineer / Network Engineer (L2 /L3)LOCATION: Newcastle, NSW & Toowoomba QLDDURATION: 12 Months Contract (Possibility of extension) Skills: • Level 2 Desktop and/or Network Engineer experience 3 yrs minimum ideally more. • Experience with basic Networking, Firewalls, Switching and Routing for WiFi networks. • Experience installing and replacing Hardware including Firewalls, Switches, Routers and the cabling between. • Be able to work with Snr Network engineers to troubleshoot and repair issues. • Experience dealing with Technical and Non-Technical customers. Nice to have experience: • Exposure to the Mining and Resources sector. • Experience with OT/IoT networks and devices. • Experience with network-driven SIEM/SOAR/SOC.
This will be an extra role they can do to be on call 24/7 for one week at a time each on rotation as per a roster When they do attend the site, they will be paid per hour of work they do on top of the retainer fee, get weekly. The hourly rate we will be paying per hour including super there will also be a set travel amount if needed. The candidates must be willing to provide an Alcohol breath test when entering the site and attend a site induction prior to starting the role.
