Our early learning school is looking for a new School Director!Location: Perth, WAStart Date: Mid-December 2025 (1 week handover with our existing School Director)The Akidamy School of Early Learning – Perth was established in 2018 and is now recognised as one of Perth's premier early childhood education services. We are seeking a passionate and experienced leader in early childhood education to lead our school and long standing team.As our new School Director, you will guide and mentor a talented team of experienced Early Childhood Teachers (ECT), educators, and faculty members, fostering an environment of excellence in early childhood education. We are fortunate to collaborate with outside specialists, including occupational therapists and sign language facilitators, to support child development and further our educational mission.Role Purpose Of School DirectorKey responsibilities include overseeing school operations, ensuring safety, directing educational programmes, managing administration, engaging in strategic planning, providing exceptional customer service, supporting child development, and achieving financial KPIs and budgetary goals. The Director must establish systems and processes for effective programme implementation and staff development, working with the Educational Leader to ensure superior customer service and secure, high-quality learning environments. This role demands a dynamic leader who balances operational management with a strategic vision to drive growth and excellence.What We’re Looking For Demonstrated extensive experience in educational and strategic leadership, particularly in roles such as Childcare Director, or a highly experienced Educational Leader of an Early Learning School. Has a degree in early childhood teaching (or a higher level) or a diploma in early childhood education and care, as well as extensive experience and a demonstrated commitment to professional growth. Proven ability to train and mentor staff, facilitating the achievement of exceptional educational outcomes, with success evaluated based on the development and advancement of the school faculty. Significant expertise in management and mentoring teachers and educators on various early childhood theories, best practices in education, and frameworks such as the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), implementation of Quality Improvement Plan (QIP), and National Quality Standard (NQS). A strong focus on continuing a culture of reflection and improvements through developing and implementing effective processes and programmes, ensuring safety leadership and management practices are integrated at all levels within the school while meeting and exceeding legislative and regulatory requirements. Collaborates with the Pedagogista to oversee the implementation of innovative and engaging philosophy led practice, ensuring the application of evidence-based, high-impact teaching strategies throughout the school.
