A temporary part time position commencing 27 January 2026 to 17 December 2026.This position exists to support the delivery of quality learning and teaching. This support class-based position requires you to work collaboratively with teachers, providing assistance in all areas of student learning and management.Essential Selection CriteriaThe preferred applicant demonstrates the following criteria:A commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.Ability to support children’s individual learning in the classroom.Understanding of and ability to work with students with diverse needs.Ability to interact positively with students.Technical competence in appropriate technologies.DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIAPrevious experience in similar settings.Experience in assisting students through targeted interventions that promote self-regulation strategiesWillingness to attend, short courses or professional learning aimed at supporting students with Autism in the classroom settingsExperience with the PB4L framework.The Following GENERAL CAPABILITIES Are Applicable To The RoleWell developed written and oral communication skills.Well-developed interpersonal skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Ability to maintain confidentiality.QualificationsCertificate III in Classroom Support or equivalentCurrent Senior First Aid CertificateWORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCEThis role is classified as a child related work and therefore a working with children clearance is required prior to your commencement with us.POSITION APPLICATIONTo submit your Application please select the 'Apply Now' button at the bottom of this advertisement.Closing Date: 6 November 2025 at 3pm
