These experts will be responsible for verifying the alignment of items with the relevant HS Biology standards, confirming their compatibility with the designated depth of knowledge (DOK), ensuring compliance with universal design specifications, and validating the accuracy of the content. This position is a temporary contract position that could potentially lead to a permanent position over time.QualificationsKnowledge of The Formative Assessment CycleKnowledge of Common Core State StandardsUnderstanding of Webb’s Depth of Knowledge (DOK)Understanding of Universal Design best practicesProficiency with learning management systems (LMS)Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical colleagues and clientsCritical thinking skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous deadlinesMinimum RequirementsBS, MS, or higher degree in K12 science education or related field3-5 years of experience as a classroom teacher within a K12 environment or related experiencePrevious experience with assessment design preferred** This application is a multi-step process.
