The OpportunityAbout the RoleWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Scientific Facilities Support Assistant to join our team in Mölndal. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the planning, communication, and operational setup of new laboratory service areas in collaboration with a team planning and facilitating laboratory moves.This is an entry-level position ideal for someone with hands-on experience in lab operations, logistics, and service coordination.Location: Mölndal, SwedenEmployment type: Full time, temporaryKey ResponsibilitiesAttend weekly planning meetings and provide on-site support for lab setup.Coordinate internal communications for lab relocations and service area launches.Review and update documentation related to lab operations.Facilitate stockroom and point-of-use (PoU) arrangements.Oversee lab support processes including glassware stations, lab coat management, and chemical store operations.Manage signage, dispatch areas, pipette stations, and other pick-up points.Handle purchases and assist in establishing new workspaces and procedures (e.g., booking cards, hoteling).Respond to ad hoc requests and ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.Perform routine tasks such as order entry, shipping & receiving, inventory replenishment, waste disposalQualifications & SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in organizing workspaces, storerooms, or facilities (e.g., logistics, warehouse, retail, hospitality, or office environments).Comfortable with physical tasks and hands-on work, including lifting, moving, and setting up equipment or materials.Decisive, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.Familiarity with basic IT tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams).Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, service-oriented setting.Experience in support roles such as facilities, logistics, operations, or customer service.Why Join Us?Be part of a dynamic and supportive team.Contribute to innovative lab setups and operations.Opportunity to grow within a global organization.Apply NowIf you're ready to take the next step in your career and make a meaningful impact in lab operations, we’d love to hear from you!DisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
