OverviewWindow Therapeutics (WTx) is committed to discovering and developing transformational therapeutics to address critical unmet patient needs in cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Spun out of MIT and based in Boston, WTx’s BAM Conjugate technology is based on over ten years of progressive research and development from the laboratory of Dr. Jeremiah Johnson.We are seeking a highly motivated individual who would be instrumental in advancing our technology into the clinic. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Biology and will be on the forefront of developing and implementing in vitro and ex vivo cellular and/or biochemical assays to characterize our novel candidates. The results generated will propel the program into the clinic and provide critical contributions towards the design of subsequent clinical trials. This is a laboratory-focused role requiring your full-time presence at our South Boston laboratory.As a key member of the Biology team you will:Lead efforts to develop, scale, and execute robust in vitro assays to establish the activity and mechanism of action of therapeutic candidates.Perform detailed characterization of engineered therapeutic agents using multi-color flow cytometry, fluorescent imaging, ELISA, MSD, and other immunoassays.Interact with project teams to design detailed plans to enable lead identification, optimization, and characterization using relevant in vitro and cell-based models and in vivo animal models.Support and lead experimentation, analysis, and interpretation of experiments.Ability to analyze, summarize scientific data, and clearly communicate updates, and report with the team and stakeholders, and perform detailed documentation of experimental results via ELN.Generate study reports, briefing books summaries, and necessary documentation in support of regulatory activities and clinical development of product candidates.Minimum RequirementsEducation and experience: PhD in molecular or cell biology or related discipline. BS with 6+ years, MS with 3+ years, with appropriate experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry will be considered.Ability to introduce new technologies to improve the performance and efficiency of assays and/or to accelerate product characterization.Awareness of current literature and a record of significant contribution to publications in peer reviewed journals and presentations at scientific meetings.A desire to learn new things, the ability to remain flexible in a dynamic work environment and adjust priorities in a timely manner.QualificationsExperience in Oncology therapeutics is highly desired.Experience with antibody and/or protein-based therapeutics is preferred, particularly ADCs.In vivo pharmacology expertise is preferred.Experience with best practices related to data records creation and maintenance and workflows integrityDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment; self-driven, creative, with a strong team-oriented mentality.BenefitsWe offer competitive compensation packagesHighly collaborative work environment.NoteApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Travel: Occasional travel may be required from time to timeWe value diversity in our company and are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
