We are seeking a skilled Data Science Engineer to join Infor Decision Analytics and Science (IDeAS), a division of Infor that delivers AI/ML-driven solutions across industries. The role is responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing large-scale predictive and prescriptive analytics that drive value for customers. Data Science Engineers combine technical expertise and analytics to transform data into actionable insights, enabling fast and effective decision automation for critical business functions.Key Responsibilities: Machine learning solution development * Design and set up the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning solutions, including model building, orchestration, and data pipelines. * Build and manage ELT processes from customer data sources to meet ML solution requirements. * Perform exploratory data analysis on large, complex datasets to assess quality, extract insights, and guide modeling. Business collaboration and impact * Partner with business stakeholders to identify challenges that can be solved with AI/ML. * Communicate analytical results and their implications clearly to stakeholders at all levels. * Work on innovative and pragmatic AI/ML solutions across industries, applying the latest technologies. Communication and knowledge sharing * Share technical ideas and code effectively through blog posts, GitHub contributions, or knowledge-sharing platforms. * Present complex concepts to diverse audiences, including scientists, engineers, and business partners.Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mathematical Modeling, Operations Research, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical, Industrial, or a related quantitative discipline. * Proficient programming skills in Python. * Strong data-querying skills using SQL, PySpark, or similar technologies. * Strong data modeling and problem-solving abilities. * Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to explain technical topics clearly. * Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills to solve complex business problems.Preferred Qualifications: * Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras. * Experience building time-series forecasting and recommendation models. * Hands-on experience with analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.About InforInfor is a global leader in business cloud software products for companies in industry specific markets.
