The largest device company in the world – with complementary businesses in Surgical and Vision Care - is hiring a Research Scientist I to join their team!Pay: $28-$35/hr.Schedule: M-F 8a-5p6 Month contract opportunity with possibility of extension or conversionResponsibilitiesLead and support formulation, design, and prototype development projects.Conduct laboratory research, testing, and analysis of materials and processes.Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and presentations.Evaluate new technologies and applications relevant to product development.Stay current with scientific and industry advancements through research and training.May mentor or assist junior scientists.Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field (MS: 0–2 yrs; BS: 0–4 yrs experience).Background in formulation and process development, preferably with hydrogel or contact lens materials.Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills**This job description is a complete list of all desired skills but not all are required.
