Work ScheduleStandard (Mon-Fri)Environmental ConditionsLaboratory SettingWe are seeking a Scientist III with strong expertise in the development, commercialization and technical support of qPCR, dPCR products and molecular biology products. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our manufacturing, quality control, and product integrity teams locally, while partnering with R&D colleagues across the globe. You will play a key part in driving innovation, product and process development, and quality improvements that ensure the highest standards of scientific excellence and product performance.Key ResponsibilitiesAssay and dPCR, qPCR reagent development: compose and complete dPCR/qPCR experiments to support reagent formulation, optimization, and performance validation for scientific and diagnostic applications.Develop and optimize product manufacturing technologies, bioanalytical methods for product and raw material analysis.Transfer newly developed products from R&D to manufacturing.Prepare validation plans, studies and reports on technologies and scientific techniques.Prepare and supervise product stability programs.Coordinate the process of controlling changes in product compositions, manufacturing processes, and analytical methods.Investigate customer complaints.Prepare and present experimental data summaries and reports.Scientific literature analysis related to products under development and new idea generation.Requirements:EducationMS or PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, bioengineering or related field.Experience:3+ years of work experience in the laboratory.Wet lab experience related to qPCR/dPCR consumables development (i.e. assay, master mix).Experience with new product design and development, familiar with design control process.Experience performing stability, guard-banding, and robustness studies using statistical and analytical tools.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:Understanding of nucleic acid and protein chemistry, enzyme kinetics and qPCR reagent formulation.Strong analytical problem-solving and data interpretation skills, with the ability to integrate results across platforms.Effective communicator capable of presenting complex analytical results clearly to cross-functional collaborators.Strong written and verbal communication abilities to present technical information to diverse audiences.Diligent, organized, and able to balance multiple projects in parallel.Proficiency with relevant software and data analysis tools.Good knowledge of English (written and oral) (level B2 - C1).We Offer:An innovative environment within a rapidly growing international company.A hard-working, supportive team and leadership committed to your professional development.The opportunity to be part of a dynamic organization and work alongside experienced professionals.A competitive salary range of €2891–€4335 gross, depending on experience and competencies.At Thermo Fisher Scientific, each one of our 120,000 extraordinary colleagues has a unique story to tell.Apply today! http://jobs.thermofisher.comThermo Fisher Scientific is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status.CompensationThe monthly salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €2 891,67–€4 335,42.
