We are seeking an experienced Data Science Engineer to join Infor Decision Analytics and Science (IDeAS), a division of Infor that delivers AI/ML solutions across industries. The role is responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing large-scale predictive and prescriptive analytics that drive measurable business impact for customers. Data Science Engineers at IDeAS combine analytics expertise and technical depth to transform data into actionable solutions, enabling fast and effective decision automation for business functions. Key Responsibilities: Machine learning solution development * Design, build, and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning solutions, including model orchestration and data pipelines. * Design and implement ETL/ELT processes from customer data sources to support ML solution requirements. * Perform and review exploratory data analysis on large and complex datasets to assess quality, extract insights, and guide modeling. * Design and build innovative, pragmatic AI/ML solutions leveraging the latest technologies across industries. Business collaboration and leadership * Lead discussions with business stakeholders to identify challenges that can be addressed with AI/ML. * Communicate analytical results and implications clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Review and provide guidance on the work of junior team members within projects. Communication and knowledge sharing * Share technical ideas and code effectively through blog posts, GitHub, or similar platforms. * Present complex technical topics in clear and actionable terms for audiences ranging from scientists and engineers to business leaders. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mathematical Modeling, Operations Research, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical, Industrial, or a related quantitative field. * Extensive real-world experience designing and implementing full ML/optimization solution pipelines (ETL, preprocessing, data analysis, prototyping, deployment, and inference). * Proficient programming skills in Python and data-querying skills using SQL, PySpark, or similar technologies. * Strong data modeling and problem-solving skills. * Hands-on experience with analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. * Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. * Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills to solve complex business problems. Preferred Qualifications: * Knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras. * Experience in building time-series forecasting and recommendation models. * Experience with applied AI/ML solutions in demand forecasting, anomaly detection, pricing, or recommendations.About InforInfor is a global leader in business cloud software products for companies in industry specific markets.
