For one of our Clients, a medical diagnostics company, we are looking for a motivated Scientist Lab Technician Assay Development to join a team responsible for the development of molecular diagnostic and screening tests based on PCR technology in the areas of infectious diseases, genomics, and oncology, from early feasibility to commercial launch.General Information:Start date: ASAPEnd date: 1 yearExtension: possibleWorkplace: RotkreuzWorkload: 100% preferredHome Office: up to max. 20%, depending on the required lab tasksTravel: NoTasks & Responsibilities:Working with high throughput lab – analyzerRoutine lab work with infectious samples and leading of own experiments including the analysis of themPlan and execute different work packages for the development of molecular diagnostics testParticipation in project meetings and presentation of experimental dataPrecise documentation of experiments using electronic lab journals according to GMP StandardsEquipment handling and maintenanceStatistical data analysis using different software and tools (e.g. JMP)Author official documents (e.g. Design History Files)Must Haves:Graduate as Biomedical Analyst Scientist (BMA HF) or apprenticeship as Lab Technician (Biology, Medical Diagnostics, Chemistry) or at least Bachelor or Master degree in Life Sciences with practical experience from the Lab (PhD graduates are considered overqualified)Ideally 2+ years of lab experience with data analyses and biostatisticsVery good and thorough documentation skillsEnglish fluency written and orally is a must, German is a plusOpen-minded team playerPro-active mindset and organized working styleFlexible, strategic thinking and self-dependent personNice to Haves:Lab experience from a biotechnical environment with infectious sample handling Biosafety Level 2Experience in a GMP/GLP environment
