This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career who brings fresh energy, a proactive mindset, and a strong interest in fashion buying.
In this role, youโll work at the heart of our buying team, from tracking supplier allocation and controlling margins in development,follow up sampling, negotiate & placing purchase orders to managing supplier allocation & relationships. With four seasonal buying cycles each year, youโll support smooth collaboration between Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Sales, Logistics, and Finance, while also gaining hands-on experience across the full buying process. What Youโll Doโจ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Sales, Logistics, and Finance to ensure smooth buying processes and act as the spider in the web connecting all teams.
๐ฆ Buying & Order Management: Create and place purchase orders (POs) for sampling and production on demand and forecasts, while supporting four seasonal buying cycles and helping to keep timelines and deliveries on track. ๐ Financial & Margin Control: Monitor and control margins to ensure healthy profitability in line with company targets and analyse production costs and material breakdowns to identify cost-saving opportunities. ๐ค Supplier & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers, supporting negotiations and clear communication, and assist in monitoring supplier performance and updating agreements where needed. ๐ ๏ธ Data & Systems:
Work with Exenta and Excel to generate reports and support decision-making, using advanced skills such as formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP. What You BringA bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Fashion Management, Commercial Economics, or a similar field. Around 1 year of experience in a buying role or a completed internship in fashion buying (having gone through at least one buying cycle). Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas). Strong communication and relationship-building skills - you enjoy collaborating across teams and with suppliers. A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to manage your time and priorities in a structured way.
