We know that the right employees are the key to our success, so we are looking for a Scrum Master to join our team for 6 months to help us achieve our vision.Employment type – Contract (6 months)Work mode: Hybrid (Kingston, Jamaica)PurposeEnable Agile teams to deliver value consistently by coaching, improving flow, and removing impediments.ResponsibilitiesFacilitate Scrum events (planning, daily scrums, reviews, retros) and maintain transparent team boards and metrics.Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile ways of working; adapt practices to fit hybrid delivery.Coordinate with external partners; monitor governance and adherence to agreed Scrum practices.Surface and remove impediments quickly; protect the team from distractions.Communicate status, risks and issues in clear, plain language to product and leadership.Foster collaboration, psychological safety and continuous improvement.RequirementsUniversity degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Experience working as a Scrum Master with a hybrid scrum team with some team members in offshore locations..Professional certification as a Certified Scrum Master Comfortable working with Jira or similar Agile tooling and basic PM artefacts.Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.Strong leadership qualities, including coaching, conflict resolution, strong facilitation and problem-solving abilities.Organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and operate efficiently under pressure.How to applyPlease submit your application via email to careers@bcicjamaica.com, with the subject line “Scrum Master” no later than Friday, October 31, 2025We appreciate your decision to apply; however, we will only contact those who are selected for an interview.
