Scrum Master / Delivery Lead – Data & Analytics

Our culture is collaborative, entrepreneurial, and driven by a shared passion for innovation and human connection.About the Role (1 day a week)We’re looking for an experienced Scrum Master / Delivery Lead to help drive delivery excellence across our growing data & analytics engagements.You’ll lead agile ceremonies, strengthen communication between teams and stakeholders, and ensure projects run smoothly from planning through delivery. This is a part-time hybrid role (1 day per week), ideal for someone who values flexibility and impact — with the opportunity to transition to full-time as our project portfolio expands.Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate Agile ceremonies — including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews — to ensure alignment and accountability.Oversee data warehousing and analytics projects, maintaining clear visibility on priorities, risks, and deliverables.Manage communication governance, ensuring structure and transparency through:Weekly delivery updates (progress, blockers, next steps)Monthly steering committee packs (status, metrics, and risks)Quarterly roadmap reviews (achievements and forward planning)Partner with technical and business stakeholders to define scope, align expectations, and maintain delivery momentum.Maintain and improve Agile delivery artefacts such as sprint boards, RAID logs, burndown charts, and communication matrices.Champion continuous improvement, helping teams evolve their delivery practices and communication flow.Key Requirements3–5+ years experience as a Scrum Master, Delivery Lead, or Project Manager, ideally in data, analytics, or cloud platform projects.Proven experience running Agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban) and facilitating ceremonies effectively.Familiarity with data warehousing or cloud technologies (e.g. Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, dbt).Strong stakeholder management and communication skills — able to engage confidently across technical and business audiences.Experience establishing project governance structures and communication cadences (weekly reports, quarterly reviews, etc.).Proficiency with delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello.Organised, proactive, and comfortable balancing autonomy with collaboration.Example DeliverablesSprint backlogs, retrospectives, and velocity reports.Weekly project updates and risk/issue logs.Monthly steering packs and delivery dashboards.Quarterly roadmap summaries and stakeholder reports.Why Join MaltemWork on cutting-edge data & analytics projects with major Australian enterprises.Enjoy a flexible, hybrid schedule (1 day/week + occasional on-site sessions in North Sydney).Collaborate within a close-knit, high-performing team that values trust, learning, and ownership.Opportunity to transition into a full-time Delivery Lead role as the portfolio expands.
