Job Title: Scrum Master – Professional Loans SquadLocation: Brussels (Hybrid mode)About the RoleYour first mission will be to set up a new squad from scratch — prior experience in team creation is a strong advantage. After that, you will play a key role in:Supporting the squad’s efficiency.Ensuring the successful delivery of features.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport to the Team and Product OwnerCoach the team in self-organization and Agile/Scrum practices (ceremonies, artefacts, etc.).Drive continuous improvement within the squad.Remove obstacles or help the team remove them to stay focused on objectives.Facilitate discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution in a safe and open environment.Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Protect the team from unexpected or non-prioritized work.Delivery OwnershipEstablish and monitor the delivery plan for squad features with contributors.Manage risks, dependencies, and blockers throughout feature delivery.Organize Scrum-of-Scrums to ensure alignment between squads and tribes.Report progress at Delivery Board meetings.Maintain strong coordination with related roles (Feature Owner, Quality, Release, etc.).Language RequirementsEnglish: Proficiency required.Bonus: Knowledge of a national language is a plus.EducationBachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.Agile & Technical SkillsIn-depth understanding of Agile methodologies.Strong mastery of Scrum principles and practices.ExperienceMinimum 6 years of relevant experience.Proven track record in coaching teams on Agile/Scrum.Experience working in multicultural environments.Solid understanding of feature planning and end-to-end delivery.Soft SkillsStrong team spirit and collaboration mindset.Inspirational leadership and motivational ability.Empathy and excellent communication skills.Proactive, pragmatic problem-solver.Autonomous, decisive, and results-oriented.Strong networking and influencing abilities.Strategic thinking aligned with organizational goals.
