Job Description

Scrum MasterKey Responsibilities * Facilitate and coordinate Agile activities and ceremonies for the team, including Scrum ceremonies and other Agile framework techniques. * Coach and help the team members to adopt and apply Agile values and principles. * Reflect on current Agile implementations and experiment with techniques to ensure continuous improvement. * Develop techniques for incorporating BAU support work with delivery work. * Work closely with the Product Owner to enable effective Product Backlog management and ensure product backlog items are prioritised and ready for the team to action. * Report progress to Agile Capability Lead and other leaders as required. * Ensure key artefacts that support success measures are understood and kept up to date. * Ensure key delivery artefacts are created by the team to support delivery outcomes. * Resolve conflicts and remove impediments that occur by engaging with internal and external stakeholders. * Help teams implement changes effectively. * Develop a productive and positive environment where team members 'own' the product. * Actively explore latest Agile practices and why those practices benefit delivery. * Coordination and communication with all team members around Incidents, Service Requests and Product Backlog as required. * Participate in knowledge sharing to ensure our client's key information is available and accessible to all, in line with Knowledge Management Framework and relevant processes.Continuous Improvement * Actively encourage and grow the Agile development environment to deliver high quality solutions. * Work with the Senior Scrum Master on strategies and techniques to apply to the Scrum Team. * Teach and explain Agile concepts, values and principles to others at differing levels of Agile understanding. * Lead and encourage team empowerment/ownership of ceremonies (everything from stand-up sessions to refinement sessions to story creation). * Actively participate in team learning and knowledge sharing sessions. * Participate in the Agile Community of Practice.Compliance and Risk * Identify, assess and manage risk in day-to-day decision making and planning. * Consider and comply with internal, legal and regulatory obligations in day-to-day decision making and planning. * Participate in formal risk identification, assessment and management activities as required. * Alert your leader in a timely manner of any identified: o risks, risk incidents or potential risk incidents o gaps in or potential improvements to operating procedures and controls o breach or potential breach of legal or regulatory obligationsWork, Health & Safety * Contributing to a safe, diverse and healthy work environment free from discrimination and harassment and in compliance with legislative requirements, equal employment opportunity and our client's human resource policies, including work health safety and wellbeing requirements.Promote Our Client's Corporate Values and Culture * All work to be undertaken with a high level of professionalism, at all times demonstrating by example our client's corporate values in all interactions with both staff and customers.
