SDE 1 - Android

We are looking for an Android Developer (SDE 1)who is passionate about building high-quality, user-friendly mobile experiences. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to develop end-to-end features from architecture and data storage to seamless UI and integrations. This role is ideal for someone eager to solve real-world challenges, take ownership, and grow in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to design, develop, and deliver scalable Android features end-to-end.Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code following coding best practices.Actively participate in code reviews - suggesting improvements for performance, readability, and maintainability.Supports production systems and proactively fixes bugs.Take ownership and accountability for the features you deliver.RequirementsMust Have: Android SDK, Activities, Fragments, Services, Broadcast Receivers.Know about UI development using XML and Jetpack Compose.Knowledge of Jetpack components, Material Design, and coroutines.Experience in SQLite/Room, Retrofit, Git.Strong Design patterns (MVVM, MVP, MVI), Dependency Injection.Knowledge of Security and data protection, encryption practices.Strong QA and testing understanding.This job was posted by Pooja Kadam from Chalo.
