SDET (QA)

Duties & ResponsibilitiesAutomate, optimize, and drive efficiency of Quality Assurance (QA) processes.Create, maintain, and share QA documentation used by team members.Develop automated test scripts to meet test objectives and business requirements.Work closely with developers, functionals, and users to gather application testing requirements, and to develop test objectives, strategies, and plans.Collaborate with DevOps team to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.Build and maintain automated test data, testing environments, and test automation frameworks.Conduct or facilitate knowledge sharing of emerging QA technologies.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.Relevant experience in application design, development, and quality assurance, with at least 3 completed SDLC cycles in web development.Hands-on experience with Selenium or Appium; mobile application testing experience preferred.Strong knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Bootstrap, and REST API design.Experience in automated testing across functional, load, performance, API, and UI/UX.Experience with test automation frameworks such as Webdriver.io and Selenium.Experience in browser extension development.Experience with collecting, measuring, and monitoring software testing metrics.Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub and Jenkins.Excellent JavaScript programming skills.Testing-related certification (e.g., ISTQB) is an advantage.Working knowledge in Java and/or .NET, Angular, GitHub & DevOps is an advantage.Strong knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).Self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
