The role requires the incumbent to propose and design machines, jigs, and fixtures to enhance factory process automation. Communication with vendors and project teams from design through Factory Acceptance Testing, and supporting equipment standardization, are also essential. ResponsibilitiesDesign machines, jigs, and fixtures for factory process automation. Verify machine specifications and ensure quality product output. Coordinate communication with vendors and project teams from initial concept design to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). Assist in standardizing machine manuals for maintenance and safety purposes. Support factories with equipment modifications, troubleshooting, and machine overhauls to meet Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) goals.
RequirementsDegree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering . Minimum of 3 years' experience in Factory Automation machine design and automation . Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and Machine Vision . Understanding of basic PLC and HMI . Independent work capabilities, driven, and analytical thinking . Strong project management skills and problem-solving abilities . Willingness to travel overseas for project assignments . Additional advantage for experience in semiconductor processes .
