We’re seeking a Senior QA Manager who can take a strategic, hands-on approach to quality assurance, ensuring both our software and hardware solutions meet the highest standards for functionality, reliability, performance, and security. The RoleAs Senior QA Manager, you’ll define and lead the overall quality strategy across Secomea’s product lines—spanning web applications, industrial edge devices, embedded firmware, and cloud infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for building scalable test frameworks and driving both functional and non-functional testing that reflects the realities of modern industrial environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Strategy & Planning Own the end-to-end QA strategy across software, embedded systems, and device-cloud integration Build a test framework that aligns with agile development practices and release cycles Define risk-based testing approaches that incorporate functional, performance, security, and reliability requirements Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defect reports Establish release readiness criteria and drive continuous improvement of QA processesNon-Functional & Industrial-Grade Testing Develop and execute performance, load, and stress tests for cloud services and edge devices including test for scalability and failover Lead robust reliability testing for devices operating in industrial environments Incorporate security testing into the QA lifecycle, including firmware hardening, access control validation, and data protection measuresAutomation, Tools & Infrastructure Expand and maintain automated testing frameworks across APIs, UI, and firmware Set the direction for test integration into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast feedback and continuous validationTeam Leadership Direct, mentor and support both a dedicated QA team as well as individual QA team members in the product development teams Foster a strong culture of accountability for quality within cross-functional teams Define and track quality metrics to measure impact and drive improvement Collaborate closely with product management, customer success, and support to align QA with customer needsWhat We’re Looking ForRequired:

5+ years of QA experience in software systems, including 2+ years in a QA leadership role Proven ability to create and execute comprehensive test strategies, with a focus on non-functional testing Hands-on experience with embedded devices or industrial edge gateways Strong understanding of test automation, scripting (e. g. , Python, Bash), and CI/CD environments Experience with QA tools such as Selenium, JMeter, or similar Excellent communication, planning, and team-building skillsNice to Have: Experience in industrial automation, IIoT, or secure remote access platforms Background in regulated or safety-critical environments (e. g.

, IEC 62443) Experience with firmware testing, hardware-in-the-loop setups, and environmental test simulationsWhy Join Secomea?
