Section Head - Tax (Financial Institution)

Are you a tax-professional in the insurance or financial services world, looking to make an impact? I am partnering with a global MNC to identify a Head of Tax to support their growing business. You’ll play a strategic role in shaping tax initiatives across the business while spearheading the team.Job Responsibilities: Lead the preparation, review and filing of local and regional tax returns, ensuring compliance and accuracy.Serve as the main point of contact for tax authorities and external advisors.Collaborate with finance, legal and business teams to optimize tax risk management and capitalize on opportunities.Provide value-adding tax guidance on transactions, business operations and planning of new initiatives.Drive improvements in tax processes, systems and controls to support scalability and growth.What We’re Looking ForMinimum 10 years of tax experience, ideally within insurance, banking or financial services.In-depth knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and international tax issues.Excellent stakeholder management.If you fit this requirement or know anyone who would be a great match, connect with me at keshveeni@ambition.com.my with your latest CV for a chat.
