Section Head – Accounts Receivable (AR) & Contract Assets

We’re Hiring: Section Head – Accounts Receivable (AR) & Contract AssetsLocation: Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaAbout the Role:A leading construction company in Riyadh is looking for a Section Head – AR & Contract Assets to manage the full accounts receivable cycle for construction contracts. The role is responsible for ensuring revenue integrity, managing contract assets and retentions, and delivering accurate financial records that support monthly closing and cash conversion targets.Key Responsibilities:Lead the AR & Contract Assets function, including progress billings, advance/retention accounting, customer master governance, and cash application.Coordinate with Project Controlling and Operations PMs to validate progress and quantities before billing.Manage retentions, unbilled revenue, and deferred revenue, ensuring accurate cut-offs and reconciliations.Drive collections, resolve disputes, and coordinate with Treasury on cash planning and guarantees.Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations (Revenue, E-Invoicing, VAT, Internal Controls).Deliver month-end reports, reconciliations, and audit-ready working papers.Develop SOPs and control checklists, coach and manage team performance.Qualifications:SOCPA / CPA / ACCA (or finalist)7–10 years of experience in Accounts Receivable within construction companiesStrong knowledge of IFRS for SMEs, IFRS 15, and ZATCA FATOORAH & VAT practicesExperience with ERP systems (preferably NetSuite) and e-invoicing gatewaysFluent in Arabic and English with strong stakeholder management skills
