Job Description

Securitas Ireland are currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant to be based in Clonee (Hybrid working model available)Reporting directly to the Finance Business Accountant They will also liaise accordingly with management and any other relevant persons to achieve their duties on a day-to-day basis. Hours are 9. 00am - 5. 30pm.

Essential FunctionsExperience in an accounts departmentStrong proficiency in MS Excel and WordGood communication skills as you will be liaising with internal and external personnelAbility to work under pressure within a team environmentAbility to meet deadlines and targetsSelf-motivated individual with drive, enthusiasm and commitmentExcellent organisational, analytical and time management skillsKey ResponsibilitiesRaise and send sales invoices and statementsRaise and send credit notesDebt chasing via telephone and emailRespond to customer queries and take responsibility for their resolutionKeep management informed of potential debtor issuesDebtors ledger maintenanceResponding to all internal and external queries in a timely mannerProvide cover for colleagues during absence for holidays and sicknessAny other Ad hoc projects as requested by the Finance Business PartnerCompetenciesAs demonstrated through experience, training, and/or testing:

Must undergo and meet company standards for background, screening, and reference checksMust have reliable means of transportation (Public or private)Must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is locatedMust have the ability to speak, read, and write English proficientlyBe able to meet and continue to meet requirements for specific skills, certifications or authorizations specified for this positionDisplay the highest standards of personal presentation to maintain the image of Securitas and the clientAbility to provide positive direction and motivate performanceAbility to track and maintain assignmentsAbility to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.

Ability to produce accurate and concise reports when required and understand clearly when escalation of reports is required. Display sound judgement in understanding as to where such reports should be directedUse of computer is required and a working knowledge of Microsoft (e. g. Outlook, Word and Excel)Strong planning, organizing and leadership skills.
