This hands-on role offers a great opportunity to manage security incidents, analyse risks and vulnerabilities, work with our SOC, and on security projects.The ideal candidate will have security experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at once.In this role you will:Identify and assess security opportunities and incidents, proposing solutions to mitigate risks.Maintain SIEM and SOC solutions.Determine security requirements for products and applications.Develop risk treatment processes, procedures, automation scripts, and documentation.Advise Data#3 Operations on security implications.Research emerging threats and evaluate new technologies to enhance security.What experience will I need?2-3 years of technical experience in an IT support environment with direct experience resolving Information or Cyber Security issuesProficiency in threat modelling and risk assessmentTechnical expertise in security technologies such as SIEMs, EDR, firewalls, and IPSStrong oral and written communication skills for interactions at all levelsKnowledgeable in Windows OS, office, and cloud applicationsAbility to manage conflicting priorities with attention to detailTertiary qualifications in information systems, computer science, information securityKnowledge of Risk & Security Standards – e.g. ISO 27001, COBIT, ITILIndustry security certifications (CEH, CISM, CISSP or CCNA) will be highly regarded.Who is Data#3?Listed in 1997, Data#3 is now an ASX200 listed company gross sales of $3 billion in the 2025 financial year.
