This is a mission-critical opportunity to shape and secure the digital landscape of a major organization, ensuring robust protection of digital assets and compliance with evolving standards. The stakes are high: your work will protect sensitive information, ensure business continuity, and set new standards for security excellence.What You’ll Be DoingDefine and contribute to the implementation of the organization’s cybersecurity strategy within the Security TeamDesign, develop, and monitor the digital security architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirementsApply risk-based architectural principles to all digital initiatives, ensuring robust and adaptive security posturesLead or participate in the creation and execution of the digital security roadmapDrive the evolution of security operations to prevent, detect, process, predict, and handle security-related incidentsIncrease the maturity of security management by strengthening capabilities in line with strategic goalsChampion security and privacy by design across ICT and business projectsPromote and implement best security practices in software development processesWhat We’re Looking ForProven expertise as a Security Architect, with recent hands-on experience in network and cyber securityDeep understanding of security frameworks, risk management, and compliance standardsStrategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into secure, scalable solutionsOwnership mindset: proactive, accountable, and driven to deliver impactStrong communication skills to engage stakeholders and lead security initiativesExperience in hybrid work environments and cross-functional teamsTechnical SkillsCyber Security (Expert level, recent experience required)Mandiant Redline (Confirmed proficiency)Microsoft PowerShell (Confirmed proficiency)Trellix Endpoint (Confirmed proficiency)Trellix Mail (Confirmed proficiency)Zscaler (Confirmed proficiency)Language ProficiencyNative proficiency in Dutch or FrenchActive knowledge of EnglishOther RequirementsAvailability for a 12-month freelance contract (full-time)Hybrid work model: on-site in Brussels and remoteEngagement subject to public procurement lawReady to build the future?
