This is a remote role, operating offering the opportunity to work with global teams across IT, engineering, and cybersecurity domains.About the RoleAs an OT Security Specialist, you’ll play a key role in developing and enforcing robust security frameworks for industrial and operational environments. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to align OT and IT security strategies, drive incident response readiness, and enhance detection and response capabilities across critical infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures tailored for OT environments.Partner with IT, engineering, and SOC teams to align OT security with enterprise cybersecurity goals.Onboard and build use cases on SIEM tools, ensuring effective monitoring and alerting.Continuously monitor servers, networks, and communication systems for potential security incidents.Create and maintain incident response playbooks and lead investigations into OT security breaches.Upskill and guide SOC teams in handling OT-related alerts and incidents.Identify and remediate vulnerabilities, ensuring patch management and system hardening.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks relevant to OT security.Deploy and manage OT-specific monitoring and detection technologies to prevent unauthorised access.What You’ll BringProven experience in OT and IT cybersecurity, ideally in critical infrastructure or industrial control system environments.Strong knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, ICS protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC, etc.).Experience with SIEM platforms, threat detection, and incident response.Familiarity with frameworks such as ISA/IEC 62443, NIST, or ISO 27001.Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.Why JoinYou’ll be joining a forward-thinking cybersecurity team where your technical expertise directly protects critical systems that power essential services.
