Good problem solving skills. Able to read, speak and write in English. Basic knowledge of investigation skills. Able to formulate and present a comprehensive report. Experienced in computer programs such as: Word and Excel. Experienced in CPR, first aid, firefighting and crowd control. Assist Security Supervisor to manage and co-ordinate the Security operation.Duties and responsibilities of Security Officers Patrol the property minimum twice per shift Identify security risks. Identify suspicious packages & people, report to control room and handle the situation until the assistance arrives. Monitor CCTV cameras, communicate with patroller officer if any suspicious movement noticed & preserve recordings if need be. Handle damage to guests’ & hotel’s properties Respond to all emergency situations according to procedure. Report & investigate work place injuries and recommend preventive precaution.Job DescriptionDepartment : SecurityPosition : Security OfficerReporting Structure : Assistant Security Manager Investigate and record statements from guest involved in injuries Elevator regular check and control for VIPs, attend to rescue if required. Monitor the Entrance and exit Jetty/ car park handle car park matters/problems Receive and process lost & found items with proper registration. Manage Saflok Key Card system – floors, lift and room access and provide records Handel the key management produces staff keys, master keys, and work keys when necessary. Swift handling Visitor management (Issue visitor & contractor passes) Handel the employees’ locker room, issuing, inspecting and recommending. Handle the Hotel/Resort emergency phone line, obtained detail emergency information, confirmed and dispatched emergency team to provide and render first aid (CPR/AED) Receive mail and parcels and dispatched to the respective department. Monitor Employees/ contractor activities at guest area, is any inappropriate or unusual immediately report to Security Supervisor Escort cashier to banks Escort guest to hospital Inspect fire and safety equipment, emergency equipment and safety and security equipment routinely and report to supervisor if any discrepancies noticed. Investigate theft cases. Follow up lost and found inquiry and update to supervisor. Assist to handle lockout guests Assist in physical wake-up calls Assist to closing/open in-room safe Escort vendors / contractors to rooms and / or sensitive areas. Conduct random checks on employee’s bag Control fire panel, Investigate if fire alarms activate and take appropriate action. Insure the entire fire exit inspected as daily and no blockage to any emergency access. Participate scheduled training plan in the department.
