In this role, you will be coordinating of all aspects of day-to-day security on our client site and much more!Hours of work: Monday to Friday 0830-1730. Flexibility required.Location: Dublin 2What will I be doing? Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems to detect any suspicious activity. Ensure the office building's access points (entrances, exits, emergency exits) are secure at all times. Conduct regular checks of the building's security systems, including fire alarms, emergency exits, and lighting. Perform scheduled and unscheduled foot patrols of the office premises, both inside and outside. Check for any security hazards (e.g., unlocked doors, windows, or areas that may need attention). Control access to the office premises by screening visitors, employees, and contractors. Ensure tailgating does not occur at entry points to the office. Build and distribute badge packets and permanent badges to employees. Issue temporary passes for visitors and ensure proper sign-in/sign-out procedures are followed. Escorting contractors or personnel into more secure spaces as needed. Support the procurement and setup of landlord badges if required. Respond to customers arriving on site, and provide assistance to ensure they leave peacefully. Respond promptly to security breaches, alarms, or emergencies (e.g., fire, medical emergencies, or trespassing). Assist with evacuations if needed, and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency responders when appropriate. Support our HR partners with terminations when required. Support the office managers with impactful events such as protests near the office. Maintain daily logs of activities, incidents, and any security-related issues. Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions to management. Complete incident reports for any events that occur during the shift. Provide an approachable presence, offering assistance to employees and visitors as needed, assisting with general inquiries and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Collect mail and packages from the delivery area as required. Coordinate with our Executive Protection team for office visits of Executives or Events. Role RequirementsEducation & Experience:Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred. PSA, first aid, or CPR is a plus. Skills & Abilities:Strong observational and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to stay calm and focused in emergency situations. Basic knowledge of security and surveillance systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements:Ability to stand or walk for long periods during patrols. Ability to lift and carry light to moderate weight (e.g., security equipment, packages). Must be able to handle the physical demands of security duties. Why choose us?
