Job Description
The Security Operations Analyst will be responsible for protecting and detecting the organization’s digital assets through effective management of Identity & Access Management (IAM) initiatives. This includes overseeing authentication, authorization, provisioning, deprovisioning, and governance to ensure secure and compliant access to systems.The role also involves implementing security automation initiatives within the identity lifecycle domain, managing governance and operations for joiners, movers, and leavers, and supporting recertification processes. The analyst will collaborate across functions to maintain a strong and resilient security posture and drive continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities1. Identity & Access Management (IAM)Oversee identity lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and periodic access reviews.Enforce least privilege access and segregation of duties to ensure compliance and reduce risk.Conduct regular access reviews, identify and remediate risks, and monitor privileged access.Manage provisioning and deprovisioning workflows via tools like SailPoint, Okta, or Azure AD.Optimize IAM processes for scalability and efficiency, while providing support for access-related issues.2. Security Automation (Scripting, Orchestration, and Dashboard)Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and workflows for identity lifecycle management.Manage and enhance reporting dashboards using JIRA, Power BI, or other platforms.Ensure automation solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with company standards.Stay up to date with emerging technologies (especially AI in security) to enhance automation capabilities.3. Security Operations MetricsTrack, analyze, and automate security operations metrics.Assist in preparing security reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.4. Security Operations InitiativesSupport and contribute to various security operations projects and initiatives.Provide ideas and deliverables for automation and improvement projects within the team.RequirementsEducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or Information Systems (or related fields).ExperienceMinimum 2 years of experience in the information security domain.Hands-on experience managing identity lifecycle management from both technical and governance perspectives (Joiner, Mover, Leaver, Review, Privileged ID).Strong understanding of IAM concepts and technologies.Experience with IAM tools such as Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, or SailPoint.Knowledge of directory services (LDAP, Active Directory), SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for automation.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain security needs and risks clearly.Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes architecture is an advantage.Certifications (Preferred)One or more of the following certifications: GGSOC, CCSA, ECSA, CISSP, CEH, or similar.
