A. Overall Purpose of the JobSecurity Manager/Specialist, Korea will drive security business growth across Workforce Resilience subscription, security consulting, training, and managed services. The role provides direct support to International SOS’s distribution team in order to drive customer satisfaction and sustainable growth. The role will act as the security risk professional peer to our clients and will be responsible for building on existing relationships and creating new ones within the client ecosystem to become a key advisor and strengthen relationships.Key performance indicators for this role include:Be the security subject matter expert and partner for the commercial team in South Korea. Work closely with Account Managers to increase client stickiness and identify Workforce Resilience related upsells (conversions, pop increase, cross border) and security consulting and training opportunities. Work closely with the Business Development Managers to identify new business opportunities, nurture them and develop new business acquisition.Act as a subject matter expert on security for consulting solutions; attend calls and meetings with clients and prospects to scope solutions and drive client engagement. Identify consulting, programs and managed service opportunities in collaboration with the South Korea Sales team.Ensure high quality delivery of consulting solutions in South Korea across a broad range of topics including risk assessment, analysis, security escalation planning, security policy and crisis management, in line with client expectation and group’s security services standards.Actively engage in appropriate social, professional, media and networking activities and events in South Korea which strengthen International SOS brand recognition in the security and risk management industry. Working with South Korea marketing team, drive strong thought leadership activities, taking the lead on webinars, seminars and other speaking and writing engagements, to help strengthen International SOS brand in the security, risk and HR/mobility management community.B. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport drive commercial growthAct as a security partner to proactively engage and support Account Managers and Business Development Managers to retain and strengthen our partnership with clients, and to win significant new business and account extension.Provide professional security expertise to drive consulting opportunities through local, regional and global/cross border engagement with clients and prospects. Act as the subject matter expert to demonstrate International SOS security capabilities as part of an integrated solution with medical and digital capabilities.Represent International SOS Represent International SOS in professional forums and in the media in South KoreaSupport the design, promotion and delivery of marketing & thought leadership materials relevant to clients in South Korea.Develop strong peer networks through associations, contacts and working relationships with clients.Be the voice of security, providing insight on trends, themes and areas of focus.Additional ResponsibilitiesAdvocate for South Korea-based clients through localization and driving innovation of services.Provide local market, customer and competitor insight. Prepare for and actively participate in Security and Sales & Marketing team’s regular calls and meeting.Domestic and international travel as required.Support the Security Centers’ situational awareness, broaden existing contacts and facilitate the development of Concept of Operations where appropriate. Provide operational security support during major crises and surge. Deploy as part of an Incident Management Team globally as needed.Play a supporting role on the South Korea Crisis Management Team when requested by the General Manager– providing support and advise as and when requiredC. Job ProfileDesirable Work Experience (Minimum 5 Years Relevant)Experience in security: corporate, consulting, military, police, intelligence, NGO, disaster management or relevant field of academiaSecurity risk assessment, planning or crisis management expertiseClient account management experienceBusiness development related experience advantageousInternational travel and work experience Additional Critical QualitiesAbility to communicate clearly and sensitively with clients and colleagues from different cultures and ethnic backgroundsAbility to work to tight deadlines and under pressureMeticulous attention to detailAbility to work as part of a teamAbility to learn and adapt to new procedures and operating protocolsAbility to write objectively and apolitically Ability to maintain high professional standards at all timesQualifications Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in security, politics, international relations, law enforcement, criminal science, disaster management or related fieldRequired LanguagesSouth Korean (native level,), English (business level)Additional language highly appreciatedTravel / Rotation RequirementsRegional and international travel dependent on business needs Willingness to work outside of normal duty hours, in support of client and operational requirements
