The technician will assist in executing key processes such as drying, shelling, cleaning, and quality inspections, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and good agricultural practices. Working closely with the Specialist and Supervisor, this position helps secure the necessary resources and supplies to meet team goals efficiently and effectively. Additionally, the role ensures seasonal workers perform their tasks with the highest standards of accuracy and care, contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborates with other departments as needed.Please note: there is no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance provided for this role.What You'll DoCarries out all seed processing operation activities for every crop, from harvest through delivery to the end user, including but not limited to drying, shelling, quality inspections, and inventory managementProvides daily updates to the specialist, highlighting potential process issues and identifying root causes to help minimize errorsFollows established procedures for all assigned tasks to ensure the safety of self and others.Support team members in the training and leading contingent workers.Ensures processing operations run efficiently to achieve optimal performance metrics.Always ensure regulatory compliance.Manages and interprets research data collected or received in the area, making informed decisions based on data analysis.Will support continuous improvement initiatives.
