Job DescriptionWe are seeking a qualified Civil Inspection Engineer to join a high-profile industrial construction project in the UAE. This role involves supervising civil construction activities, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. The engineer will report to the PMC Construction Manager and play a key role in delivering high-quality construction outcomes for a Waste to Energy facility. Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and inspect all civil construction activities on site. Ensure compliance with contract specifications, drawings, and applicable industry standards.
Monitor contractor performance and workmanship to meet quality and safety standards. Identify and report any non-conformances or deviations from project specifications. Maintain thorough documentation of inspections and construction progress. Coordinate with other discipline inspectors and the PMC Construction Manager. Provide technical input and resolution for civil-related construction issues. Support the preparation and review of method statements and inspection test plans (ITPs). QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. Strong knowledge of civil construction materials, methods, and applicable standards (e. g. , ACI, ASTM, BS). Proficiency in inspection documentation and quality control procedures.
ExperienceAdditional InformationMinimum 10 years of post-graduate experience in civil engineering inspection. Proven experience working on industrial construction projects, preferably in the Middle East. Background in large-scale EPC or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
