Your PositionSemco Maritime is proud to be part of the consortium Danske Flådeskibe K/S –. With this strategic commitment, Semco Maritime strengthens its position as a key supplier to the Royal Danish Navy and reinforces Denmark’s maritime industrial base. As our new Strategic Buyer, you will play a central role in driving procurement excellence across these complex, high-profile defence and energy-related projects. You will help shape sourcing strategies, develop strong supplier partnerships, and deliver commercial impact in a dynamic and growing organization. Effective stakeholder management will require a considerable amount of travel.

Your Tasks & ResponsibilitiesAs Strategic Buyer, you’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and strategic partners to support sourcing and supply chain activities across the full value chain – from early project planning to final delivery.

You’ll Be Responsible ForDriving procurement planning and executing sourcing strategies for key categoriesIdentifying, evaluating, and developing suppliers – ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and reliable deliverySupporting commercial negotiations, including contract terms and performance agreementsContributing to process improvements across sourcing, logistics, and supplier collaborationParticipating in cross-functional projects focused on supplier development and performancePreparing solid analyses and recommendations to support data-driven decisionsActing as a key point of contact for supplier qualification and performance follow-upWhat You BringYou’re structured, proactive, and solution-oriented – and you enjoy working in an environment where collaboration and execution go hand in hand.

We Imagine You HaveA few years of experience in procurement or supply chain – ideally within offshore, maritime, energy, or defenceA solid grasp of strategic sourcing, negotiation, and supplier managementGood stakeholder management skills and the ability to work across functions and seniority levelsAn analytical mindset and a hands-on approach to getting things doneFluency in both Danish and English – written and spokenWelcome to Semco MaritimeAt Semco Maritime, we create change.
