This role is the critical link between our marketing creative vision and its technical, scalable deployment across global media platforms. You will own the full development lifecycle for high-impact display and rich media units, ensuring flawless execution, strict technical compliance, and uncompromised brand aesthetics across hundreds of variations.I. Core Responsibilities: Technical Development & Ad OperationsThis section focuses on the non-negotiable, high-efficiency coding, performance, and compliance standards expected.HTML5 Unit Engineering: Architect, develop, and QA high-performing, light-weight HTML5 display advertising units (standard, expandable, interstitial) using vanilla JavaScript, CSS3 (for animations), and HTML5.Performance and Optimization Mastery: Aggressively manage and enforce strict platform constraints, specifically achieving sub-150KB file size limits (including all assets) via techniques like image compression, sprite mapping, and efficient code minification.Platform & Compliance: Ensure 100% technical compliance with specifications for all major ad servers and DSPs, including Google Ads (formerly AdWords), DV360, Adform, The Trade Desk, and Sizmek. Expertly manage click-tag implementation, manifest.json creation, and polite loading sequences.Advanced Ad Formats: Implement advanced features such as video integration, dynamic creative optimization (DCO), and responsive ad units, setting up feed structures and template logic where necessary.QA & Troubleshooting: Execute rigorous cross-browser and cross-device Quality Assurance (QA). Actively debug and resolve technical issues identified in live environments or during third-party certification.II. Core Responsibilities: Design, Creative Adaptation & ConsistencyThis section highlights the critical need for design sensitivity, brand guardianship, and scale-based adaptation skills.Key Visual (KV) Localization & Resizing: Rapidly and accurately adapt core Key Visual (KV) assets provided by the creative team into a comprehensive matrix of required banner sizes (e.g., 300x250, 728x90, 160x600, 300x600, etc.).Brand and Visual Integrity: Serve as a brand guardian, ensuring that all adaptations maintain the original campaign's visual hierarchy, messaging integrity, typography, and color palette, regardless of banner aspect ratio.Asset Preparation: Efficiently prepare, crop, and optimize creative assets (images, typography, and vectors) from source files (e.g., PSD, AI, Figma) for web use, focusing on balancing visual fidelity with minimal file size.Motion & Storytelling: Translate static design concepts and storyboards into engaging, performant CSS3/Javascript animations that enhance the core message while adhering to strict animation duration limits.III. Required Skills, Tools, And ExperienceTechnical Coding Expertise: Minimum 3+ years professional experience focused on front-end web development/ad development, with a deep specialization in vanilla JavaScript, HTML5 Canvas/DOM manipulation, and high-performance CSS3.Animation Framework Mastery: Proficiency in the GreenSock Animation Tool (GSAP) for creating smooth, efficient, and complex animation sequences in HTML5 display units. Demonstrated ability to use GSAP's features for advanced sequencing and timeline control.Ad Tech Standards: Proven experience implementing ad tracking methods, including click-tags, 1x1 trackers, and managing rich media server-side tracking assets.Creative Software Proficiency: Expert-level command of the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Photoshop ,Illustrator and Figma, for image manipulation, slicing, and asset preparation.Workflow: Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume production workflows, handling hundreds of creative adaptations and localizations within tight deadlines.Optimization Tools: Familiarity with modern code optimization and asset compression techniques/tools.Not a Must But a PlusPrior experience in motion design tools such as Adobe After Effects (used for pre-visualization or generating complex video assets).Experience exporting Lottie/Bodymovin animations for integration into mobile or web environments.Familiarity with other creative frameworks, such as Three.js or P5.js, for innovative rich media execution.At Monks, we believe in fostering an environment where a diversity of perspectives can thrive.
