Senior Account Manager – AWSLocation: Munich, Germany (Hybrid working available)Salary: €80,000 - €100,000 - Includes an exceptional commission structure – up to double your base salary OTERole OverviewAs a Senior Account Manager, you will play a key role in guiding businesses across various sectors as they adopt AWS solutions. You will act as a driver for AWS revenue growth, identifying opportunities to strengthen engagement and expand cloud adoption. Your focus will be on understanding the unique challenges and goals of customers across multiple industries, positioning consulting and managed services as strategic enablers of their growth and innovation.In this role, you will build strong partnerships, identify growth opportunities, and deliver tailored cloud strategies that help businesses scale and innovate. Your work will establish long-term trust with stakeholders and position the organization as a go-to partner for AWS solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts.Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key decision-makers.Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.Collaborate with AWS to align strategies and achieve joint objectives for customer success and revenue growth.Advise clients and prospects on the advantages of cloud computing, AWS solutions, and customized cloud strategies.Design flexible, scalable cloud strategies that meet evolving business needs and support growth.Partner with internal sales and marketing teams to develop effective engagement plans and go-to-market strategies.Stay informed about industry trends, AWS offerings, and competitive solutions to position strategies effectively.Continuously refine your knowledge of cloud services, sales techniques, and market developments.Provide feedback from client interactions to help shape messaging, marketing campaigns, and service offerings.Qualifications & RequirementsStrong understanding of cloud computing, AWS services, and the technology landscape.Proven experience in acquiring new clients, expanding existing accounts, and selling consultancy or professional services.Experience supporting businesses through cloud migration and adoption.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders.Strong sales and negotiation skills, capable of presenting value propositions and handling objections effectively.Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team setting.Professional, customer-focused, and adaptable to changing market and client needs.
