We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Charlotte, NC.Position OverviewThe Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing the company’s financial reporting, ensuring compliance. This role requires a strong background in accounting principles, experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (formerly Great Plains), and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform bank reconciliations across multiple store locations using our automated bank reconciliation toolReconcile discrepancies in store reporting and bank transactions dailyConduct month-end general ledger account reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesMaintain and optimize accounting processes and reporting in Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains).Assist with financial due diligence for new acquisitions, including limited travelEnsure compliance with internal controls and external regulations.Support audits by preparing required documentation and liaising with auditors.Ability to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesProvide financial insights to leadership to support business decisions. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting and finance.Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or multi-entity environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or similar ERP system.Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Work Environment & ScheduleBased in Charlotte, NC.On-site 4 days per week with 1-day remote flexibility.Collaborative, fast-paced environment with opportunities for professional growth.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience.Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plan.Paid time off and company holidays. Company DescriptionPledge Financial LLC is the parent company of several pawnbroking locations operating along the East Coast, starting in RI, ending in SC, and continues to expand.
