Senior Accountant

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Supervisor to join our dynamic accounting team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting principles, a collaborative mindset, and leadership potential to oversee and mentor junior staff. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting while supporting process improvements and team development.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAPOversee month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliationsSupervise and mentor junior accountants and accounting interns; provide ongoing training and performance feedbackAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisEnsure compliance with internal controls and accounting policiesCoordinate with external auditors during audit processesLeverage accounting software and other tools to streamline processes and reportingParticipate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as neededFoster a positive and collaborative work environmentRepresent the firm or company in community or professional events, when applicableQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Management 2–6 years of experience in an accounting or finance role Demonstrated ability to oversee, develop, and train junior staff (desired)CPA license, or eligibility and intent to obtain CPA licensure (preferred)Experience in Tax returns for individual and business, Tax compliance.High proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, ERP systems) and general technology useStrong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
