Build your ambition.JOB OVERVIEWAre you an experienced accounting professional ready to take ownership of financial reporting in a truly global organization? As Senior Accountant at Amrize, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our Swiss financials while contributing to international consolidation and group reporting.You’ll work closely with finance colleagues in Switzerland, Colombia, and North America (mainly US+ Canada) – combining deep local expertise with global impact. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in cross-border collaboration, enjoys hands-on accounting, and wants to strengthen their knowledge of both Swiss Code of Obligations and US GAAP in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESFinancial Reporting & AccountingEnsure accurate and compliant financial records under Swiss Code of Obligations and US GAAP.Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings for Swiss entities.Prepare statutory financial statements and group reporting packages using Workiva.Oversee reconciliations and support the timely submission of consolidated group results.Continuously improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Tax & ComplianceManage Swiss VAT, corporate, and withholding tax requirements.Prepare and submit tax returns and regulatory filings.Support tax calculations for acquisitions, capital transactions, and share buy-backs.Internal Controls & AuditEnhance internal control frameworks in line with SOX requirements and ensure clear documentation.Coordinate internal and external audits, including impairment and recoverability reviews.Act as the primary point of contact for auditors and ensure smooth, transparent collaboration.Collaboration & Business PartneringServe as a trusted finance partner to teams in Switzerland, Colombia, and North America (mainly US + Canada).Provide cost center managers with insights to support financial decision-making.Contribute to shared service operations and help streamline finance processes globally.WHAT YOU BRINGMaster’s degree in Accounting in Switzerland, Swiss Certified Fiduciary, or Swiss Certified Accountant (or equivalent).7–10 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in an international setting.Strong knowledge of Swiss Code of Obligations and Swiss tax regulations.Excellent communication skills in German and English.Proficiency with SAP (ideally in SAP S/4HANA) and Microsoft Excel.Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a structured, hands-on working style.Travel: Occasional travel (<10%) may be required to collaborate with global teams and support audit processes.
