Join our team based in Hørning, Denmark and enjoy a collaborative culture that empowers you to build a career you can be proud of.What You Would Do As Our Senior AccountantThe Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting activities for the company, including general ledger, fixed assets, standard costing, accruals, and tax compliance. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data, supports management with timely reporting, and contributes to process improvements in line with the requirements of a mid-sized manufacturing environment.You would also:Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts and accounts receivable and accounts payable subledgers, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards and company policies and perform monthly closing activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, calculation of accruals, prepayments and variance analysis.Perform account reconciliations, including bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, to ensure accuracy, also monitor accounting transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register, including acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation, establish and update standard cost models for materials, labor, and overhead.Analyse actual production costs against standards and report variances.Ensure timely preparation and submission of VAT, corporate income tax, and other statutory tax filings and support the Finance Manager in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.The Skills And Experience You NeedWe are looking for someone who has:A minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.A bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, CPA/ACCA or equivalent certification is preferred.Strong knowledge of IFRS and tax regulations and is proficient in Navision / AX ERP systems (preferred).Advanced MS Excel and financial analysis skills, strong attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to work independently and meet deadlines.What We OfferWe’re passionate about providing amazing opportunities and benefits, so you can continue and progress a lifelong career with us – here’s what we have to offer:Learning and career development opportunities, whether it’s online learning, management training or enhancing your skills.A competitive salary and incentive schemes.And much more…We review applications regularly, so don't waitWe are building diverse, inclusive teams, and encourage applications from everyone who can see themselves working with us.
